Welcome

Since March 2020 I am a senior researcher at the chair for Computational Mathematics at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Before I joined TUHH, I was a staff member at Zuse Institute Berlin since 2008, and obtained a PhD in Mathematics at Freie Universität Berlin in 2015.

I am a member of the coordinating team of the Machine Learning in Engineering initiative at TUHH, are part of the organizing committee of the MLE Days 2023, and am leading the MLE activity group AG Physics-based Machine Learning together with Cheng Yang.

Since August 2023 I am a member of the Scientific Committee of the Parallel-in-Time workshop series.
